Legal Update Factsheet: Information and Consultation of Employees Regulations 2004
February 28th, 2008In 2002 an EU directive was agreed giving employees the right to know and be consulted about issues affecting their jobs. In 2005, businesses employing 150 people or more had to fall in line with the directive. Two years later, those employing 100 staff had to follow suit. As of April 2008, companies employing more than 50 staff have to comply with the regulations. This factsheet explains what you need to do about it.
