Project: Interim resource and learning interventions
Brief: To provide interim resource and support to headquarters staff and develop a strategic format for the learning function.
Approach: A member of Calibre HR & Training was on site three days a week for two years to provide day-to-day leadership and operational support to the learning team. This included:
- Management of external training suppliers
- Operational support
- One-to-one coaching with senior managers
- Career development
- Facilitation of team meetings and strategy days for senior executives
- Design and delivery of training including recruitment skills, appraisal skills, career coaching and teambuilding
Outcome: The learning function’s strategy was redesigned with accountability for learning defined within each business area. A talent management programme was created and individuals and teams developed to meet business objectives and personal and career development goals.
