Elspeth Watt, MA, FCIPD
Elspeth has more than 20 years’ experience in the management of HR strategy for multi-nationals, smaller local companies and the not-for-profit sector. She has a background in people management with experience of working in highly politicised environments.
Elspeth has a wide-ranging knowledge of employment law and industrial and employee relations issues. Her strengths are in the development of pragmatic policies and procedures, managing complex HR issues and developing common sense solutions to strategic organisational problems. Elspeth has held senior HR positions in major blue chip organisations and in major employers in the public sector.
Elspeth has an extensive background in managing large-scale recruitment exercises for all levels of staff as well as senior management and specialist technical posts. She has also handled redundancy and down-sizing exercises across a range of businesses and is experienced in TUPE transfers.
Out of work Elspeth enjoys taming her garden and orchard as well as tending her menagerie of waifs and strays.
